Osaka and Deer-Land (Nara)

Osaka

Osaka was quite a contrast to the sleepy town of Akashi, and the sleek sophistication of Kobe. Bright lights, more food than you can imagine and a cacophony of strange sounds makes this city a sensory explosion.

Nara

The land of the sacred deer. Nara is home to numerous UNESCO world heritage sites and is dominated by a sprawling park full of tame deer. It may just be my favourite place in Japan thus far.
